29th January 12 - Coaches View

Excellent effort today, I couldn't have asked more from any of you.

 

Positives

 

- Created chances.

- Good passing movements.

- Competed well in every part of the team.

- Good fitness levels and effort right to the end.

 

Learning Points

 

- We can't let a player turn in the box.

- Go with the runner at all times.

- Don't let the ball bounce - get your header in.

- Don't get involved in verbals - all you do is lose your concentration.

U16 - 15th Jan 12 - Game off - Pitch Frozen

 

22nd Januuary 12 - Coaches View

Up until now we have played well but today was very disappointing

 

Positives

 

- The majority of you never gave up right to the end.

- Some excellent saves from Jonny.

 

 

Learning Points

 

- We have got to mark our players - apart from the sweeper nobody should be marking space.

- Communications - encourage each other

- Play the simple ball

Overall excellent display considering we haven't played for a while.

 

Positives

 

- Good passing movements particuarly in the first half.

- Created lots of opportunities.

 

Learning Points

 

- Tracking back is key

- Call for the ball, we had two players going for the ball a couple of times.

 

It was a really good start to the year.
