27th April - Coaches View

An excellent effort tonight, well done, it was really hard work with all the injuries and having only 12 players.

 

- Positives

 

* We started well.

* Everyone kept our defensive shape well.

* We created lots of chances.

 

- Learning Points

 

* When closing a game out don't get caught out of position.

* Don't swop positions without speaking to the coach.

 

Coaches player of the Match - Avi - despite not playing for a long while he produced an excellent performance.

Really good determination today in hot conditions, well done.

* Closing out a game is key

* Keep the shape of team (e.g. stay in position)

* Communication is key letting each other know who to mark.

 

Coaches player of the match - Marcus - Good use of the ball, made tackles at vital times.
