- We created lots of chances.
- We generally kept well to our positions.

- Don't go for hit and hope forward passes, play angled passes into space.
- Head over the ball to keep the ball low and hard.

- Parents Award - James - Good defending and passed the ball very well.
- Coaches Award - Josh Reynolds - Good organisation of our defence, won vital headers and tackles for the team.

13th March 2010 - Coaches View

I was pleased with the way we kept to our positions and passed the ball around.

- Positives

* I was really proud of the sportsmanship, you all showed the opposition the respect they deserved.
* Trying to do the right thing in terms of passing to the person in the best position.
* Understanding the need to ensure our full back drops into the centre of the pitch to mark when the opposition play two up front.

- Learning Points

* Always shoot for the far corner of goal across the keeper.
* When defending stay goal side.

Parents Award - Guy - Good goal and overall display.
Coaches Award - Ryan - Good leadership in defence.

The kick on Sunday has changed from 11.30 to 13.00 (apologies to all the mums to do this to you on mothers day).

The details are now Home v Northern Lights - Meet @ the Rec @ 12.30 for 13.00 kick off.

Squad members missing the game are James and Joe.

The reason is that our U11's and U13's are also playing at the Rec on Sunday.

- Some very good passing moves.
- The defence prevented any clear cut chances

- Work on the basics, eye of ball etc.
