U14's - Squads for February 10

Squads for February are below:

 

31st Jan - No game, we are training from 12.30 to 13.30 at PGL as we do on a Monday.

 

Important - Please park / drop off /pick up around the fountain in front of the hotel due to building work and other activities @ PGL next Sunday.

 

I would have done the session earlier but I'm helping out with one of the other teams in the morning.

 

 

7th Feb - Away to Northern Lights

Meet at 10.00 for 10.30 kick off

Meadowcroft - Swindon (if anyone needs directions let me know)

Squad members missing the game are Avi and Joe

 

 

14th Feb - Away to Kingshill

Meet at 10.00 for 10.30 kick off (please allow sufficient time to find this ground).

Squad members missing this game are Alex, Gareth and James.

This is @ half term, if anyone else is likely to be away I need to know asap.

 

Directions from the Kingshill Coach:

 

 

"we are near cirencester town football ground were in kingshill school which is, it is the second turning after cirencester ground.

 

If you come down the A 419 turn off for ciren /siddington the swindon road follow A 419 down to a roundabout which as road works take the 4th exit and head back to swindon there will be a turning on the left says Preston about 150 yards turn there follow that road up a hill you should see a big green dome that's cirencester ground keep going passed that and were on the left"

   

21st Feb - No game, I will let you know about a training session nearer the time.

  

28th Feb - Home Northern Lights

Meet @ 11.00 for 11.30 kick off.

24th January 10 - Coaches View

Key for today is that we learn the lessons very quickly, if we do it will make us a stronger side for the rest of the season.

 

Positives

 

- Great attitude in the warm up, this went through to making a good start in game.

- Some really good passing moves.

- Excellent individual goal from Alex.

 

Learning Points

 

- You can't let the person you are marking run free.

- We need to get the link up play right between midfield and up front (we will work on that in training).

- You can't stand and watch the other teams players when they have the ball.

 

• Parents Player of the Match - Guy, good defensive display, kept to his position well.
• Coaches Player of the Match - Ryan, good tackling and leadership in defence.

Following a pitch inspection this morning part of the pitch is still not playable - Rob

At the moment the game is still on, details are:
