I will still do a training session on Monday but appreciate it is a Bank Holiday so its only for the boys who are around and don't have anything else on.

2nd May 09 - Coaches View

In the second half we produced a really good performance, some good passing moves and winning tackles.

 

Overall it has been a really good season, we have played far better football than in previous years, the gap with the teams who have been promoted has been close, if we can keep improving as we have been then next season should be really good.

 

Positives

 

- In the 2nd half we proved how well we can play

- Good use of the ball

- We were winning the tackles

- Only caught off side a couple of times

 

Learning Points

 

- We started the game too slowly as a team, we were not winning the ball enough

- Marking from corners and holding the line of defence and when to back away when the kick is made are points to improve on for next season.

 

Captains Award - Josh for good tackling

 

Coaches Award - Guy - Excellent goal and good use of the ball, particularly in the 2nd half.

 

Thanks again to all the boys for their hard work during the season and all the support from everybody else.
